Nutrition tracking that learns you.
Calories and macros, and the rest of what's on the plate — plants, ferments, fibre, saturated fat. Most days you eat something you've eaten before, so Macrobyte learns it: your foods, your portions, the same breakfast, the Tuesday burrito.
Photo, then skim
Shoot the plate, check the guess. It admits when it doesn't know. Or save it for later without logging — the snack you just bought, or a dish on tonight's menu.
Your foods, most used first
Correct it once and it remembers. Your entries beat the database.
Weeks, not days
Targets follow the trend, not one unkind morning on the scale.
More than calories
Heart health, gut health, whole foods, or gaining muscle. Pick what matters and the targets, ratings and daily check-ins follow it — and when the day is done and on target, it just says so.
Where does the food data come from?
USDA FoodData Central, the Canadian Nutrient File and Open Food Facts, with a food database built into the app for when you're offline. Plus whatever you save. Yours always wins.
Does the learning happen on my phone?
Yes. Your foods, your corrections and your usual meals are learned and kept on your phone, and in your own iCloud if you use it. What does leave — a photo you ask it to analyse, a food you look up online — is listed in the app, in Settings › Data and privacy.
Will it sync with Health?
Yes — your weight in, calories and macros out.
Is it only about calories?
No. Choose heart health and it watches saturated fat and sodium; gut health, and it counts 30 different plants a week and 3 ferments a day; whole foods, and it shows how processed each week was. Gaining muscle puts protein first.
